The National Association of Care & Support Workers (NACAS) are looking to recruit a network of Regional Ambassadors who can join the team to raise brand awareness and contribute to the NACAS mission.
Our Regional Ambassadors will help to raise awareness of our work by becoming a champion, talking about NACAS and to encourage other care and support working professionals become members. This is a really important role as it helps us to reach new people, identify corporate membership opportunities and thank our existing supporters for the work they are doing.
You will be the link between the respective Heads of Individual and Corporate Membership with whom they will have regular contact. This role provides an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to help develop and increase membership for this rapidly growing association. This is a part time, voluntary, role, which will not only enhance the CV of the successful candidate, but which could develop into a paid role as NACAS grows.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who wants a challenge, and who wants to play a key role in: shaping, building, and developing an association that can help millions of workers in social care.

Encourage and inspire care & support workers to become members of the Association.
Build relationships with social care organisations
Attend events on behalf of the Association.
Work with the Board, & the other dept Heads to ensure the effective running of NACAS.
To put on local events for care and support workers in your area (to be developed over time).
Key requirements for the role are:
A good knowledge of your local area
The ability to inspire people about the work of NACAS
A confident speaker
Good organisational skills.
Strong written and verbal skills.
Be innovative in ways to develop NACAS.
This is a newly created role, and as such the successful applicant has the unique opportunity to shape and develop the role. To start with we would see this role as requiring c15-20 hours effort per month to fit in around the applicant’s other commitments and routines.
Once the successful applicant has been in role for a month or so and got to grips with the key processes, then the time commitment will reduce.
